The first half was rough for the Bears. New Hope took advantage of their penalty corners and UM was tentative in the circle. We're not proud of the first half score , but the team is proud that we were resilient and never let down in the 2nd half.
The defense rebounded in the 2nd half to only allow 1 goal with goalie Tierney Hogan recording 20 saves in the 2nd half. Tierney has been playing SO awesome all season, but on corners today, NHS was more aggressive in the circle and got too many open shots on goal. She finished with 32 saves.
Upper Moreland came back in the 2nd half and played much better. The defense started clicking and Abby Kelly had an amazing defensive save on an aerial ball to the top of the cage.
