Vikings went into halftime up 1-0 when Dasia Araujo scored on a breakaway with just under 10 minutes to go in the first half. In the second half, the Vikings went on to take a 3-0 lead. Mia DiBella scored on a another breakaway at 16:21 and she then also scored the third goal for the Vikings with about 15 minutes left in the game. The crossed pass came from Dasia Araujo. Norristown scored at the 11:39 mark (Diamond Rahatt had the goal).
UM defense- including Laura Persofsky, Krysta Zadroga and Katie Schauble, made several key plays in the end of the second half that prevented more goals from Norristown. Kaitlyn Lutz also played very strong in the midfield.
UM goalkeeper, Devyn Antonucci, had 6 saves.
