Upper Dublin came ready to play and we had a slow start out of the gates. The score was 1 - 0 at half and we were hoping to tie it up, but then when UD scored again, we kind of lost our momentum.
Our goalie Tierney Hogan had a stellar game with 23 saves. Several times, there was confusion in front of the cage and Hogan made multiple saves in a row. Taking away our opponents offensive threats is something we will work on this week.
In our team talk after, we are taking this as a wake up call! We need to be ready for every game. We need to use our improved stick skills, play as a team, keep possession on attack and remain confident in our defensive circle.
