Tough loss for Quakertown. The girls all played with more aggressiveness than in the past. However, due to 2 starters out sick and one injured, we had difficulty generating an attack. Springfield played well and put pressure on our defense and scored in the first half on an unassisted goal by Gracie Waron. First half Springfield had 5 corners and 7 shots on goal. Quakertown was unable to draw a corner but came close to scoring in the second half. Springfield won 6 corners in the second half with 4 coming in the last 2 minutes of the game. Quakertown plays Plymouth Whitemarsh at home Friday night.
