It’s weird to say that today was a fun loss, but it was. The team was fully connected and hungry in the second half. We got off to an extremely slow start and unfortunately that was our downfall. Two key members of the team were out with injuries today, so we really needed to make some adjustments. Harper Tomlinson stepped up big on defense for us today and we had some really great plays connecting the defense to the midfield. Camryn Puhalla had 10 saves in goal.

I thought we played better hockey today than we have in the last 2 or 3 games. Which was fortunate, as CB East was right with us, especially in the second half. All of our conference games thus far have been very tough, competitive contests... and today was no different. We controlled the tempo and the ball in the first half but struggled to maintain possession in the second half. Some of that could certainly be attributed to CB East, as they really picked up their intensity in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Our 2 senior Hannahs (Fuente and Cornes) led the way today, as both played strong games endline to endline.
