“The PW team played a strong game against Upper Moreland to open the season. It was a total team effort as we were able to control the ball in our attacking end and come away with 29 shots and 12 corners. Freshman, Kaleigh Missimer, scored the first goal off of a cross from Kennedy Reardon. Reardon then continued the PW attack scoring on a corner (Jess Dixon assist) and a penalty stroke. Freshman, Ava Borkowski, rounded out the scoring with two goals. Senior, Sophie Kolkka, played a strong game to anchor the defense and senior goalkeeper, Katherine Houghton, earned two saves in the shutout."
