These are the days you wish for at the beginning of preseason each year. Playing this late in October is truly something special.

PW broke the game open with 6:05 second left in the first quarter. A score that would stand until the last quarter. The Colonials found the of the cage two more times to close out the game 3-0 against a persistent Rams squad.

Pennridge coach Chris Chookagian on the game: “Today's game was definitely one of the best games of our season. And that is exactly what you hope for when you are playing at this point in October. Playing a full 60 minutes is something we've talked about all season long and had a few swings in the game that led to goals against.

PW has always been a strong team in District 1, as long as I can remember, and the score doesn't truly reflect the game that was played.

This Pennridge team plays in one of the toughest conferences in the state and flipped the script from last year. Six of Six SOL Colonial teams made it into the PIAA District 1 - 3A tournament. Although this is the end of the fall campaign for us, we have our eyes set on doing the work to being back here next October. "
