"PW played another strong game and earned a shutout win over Council Rock South. The first two goals were scored on corner plays. Katie Guarino tipped in a Quinn Burns shot at 12:36 in the first quarter. Despite numerous scoring opportunities in the first quarter, PW wouldn't earn its second goal until a series of corners with time expired. Bridget Fullerton scored off a perfectly executed corner play from Emily Dobrowolski. Gracie Kerns added the third goal at the 7:34 mark of the 2nd quarter to give PW a 3-0 lead at the half. Fullerton and Kerns would score again in the third quarter (6:52 and 2:14) off rebounds from the goalkeeper's pads. Tori Newell scored the final goal of the game tipping in a Dobrowolski shot at the 6:18 mark. Emily Dobrowolski played a great game in the midfield reading the play and setting up numerous scoring opportunities."
