Lost 3-2 to NP. NP scored with 5 min left. We were awarded a stroke with 3 minutes left but unfortunately did not convert.
NP came out strong and put good pressure on our defense. However, Quakertown got on the board first with a quick transition when Emma McLaughlin brought the ball down the field and dished a nice pass off to Becky Gerhart for the score. NP's Emma Herb tied the game just before the half.
Within the first 10 minutes of the second half McLaughlin had a great break away, dodged several defenders and nailed a shot toward goal. Taylor Scheetz got her stick on the shot to score. The play continued up and down the field with both teams putting pressure on the goal. NP scored with 16:21 left in the clock on a goal by Abbie Roberts, assist by Mikayla Barrow.
