"PW won its last regular season game over North Penn and also celebrated Ava Borkowski's 100th career goal. Borkowski would score her 100th career goal at the 17:32 mark on a beautiful reverse shot to put PW up 1-0. Molly Lynch would score on a hard shot from the right side of the circle to give PW a 2-0 advantage. North Penn responded with intensity and scored with five minutes remaining in the first half. North Penn had the momentum had the beginning of the second half and scored on a lifted corner shot to tie the game 2-2. As the half went on, PW gained the momentum back by playing good defense and capitalizing on transition. Alexis Minor would score the game winner at the 18:37 mark and PW would not look back scoring five more goals to end the game."

Notes: The score doesn't tell the whole story of the game. The Knights held off a very skilled, fast, and talented PW team until late in the second half. The score at halftime was 2-1 and North Penn scored the first goal in the second half to tie the game 2-2 on a beautifully executed corner by the Knights. Then PW went on a big run and North Penn ran out of gas and had difficulty holding them off. Maddie Waldspurger had a great game for North Penn making big stops and distributing the ball well.
