Notes: Congratulations to our 7 seniors (Nicole Crosson, Alex Fein, Sierra Gee, Deborah Kim, Jillian Lampitoc, Emily Liu, Riley Pickford) on their senior night 1-0 win over Pennridge. It was a key win for the Knights as they were the 22 seed in the district rankings prior to the game. The goal scored was a beautiful play that developed from Katie Blanch in the midfield who made a pass on the left side of the field to forward Erin O'Donnell who cut the ball back to the middle and saw forward Bay Detweiler in the circle all alone. As she received the pass, forward Eleni Kountroubis made a run to the right and Bay passed it out to Eleni to beat the Pennridge goalie to her left (on the right post). Kountroubis had a big night for the Knights as she was relentless on the attack end of the field and backs Megan Albert and Alex Fein made a lot of key stops in the back field to hold off the Pennridge attack.

Tough fight from both teams. North Penn played a very fast game up front but then controlled our pace with strong organized defense. Maia Machado was great for us in goal and was well supported by our defense.
