Coaches Note:
Both teams played amazing tonight, it was great to watch such a skilled and intense game. Pennridge scored early, not even a minute into the game. But West held them off for the rest of the half. Both teams excelled at advancing the ball and connecting their passes. With 6 minutes left in the game, Em Erickson #27 (So.) caused an offensive corner which led to a goal by Casey Reichwein #32 (Sr.) assisted by a beautiful insert from Anya DeAngelis #5 (Sr.). This sent the two teams into a nail-biting overtime. With 30.9 seconds left on the clock, Carlin McFadden #9 (So.) rushed the cage and scored the game-winning goal. Outstanding plays by Julia Bunch, Sara Lelii, Lauren Hahn, Emily Erickson, and incredible saves by Cassidy Pitts. With everyone hustling, our victory was truly a team effort.

Both teams played with admirable intensity tonight, it was an unforgettable Pink Out game! Coach Ginny is extremely proud of her whole CBWFH program. The Freshman Team beat South 8-0, and JV won 2-0... a triple victory for CB West Field Hockey! WAY TO GO BUCKS!
