Comments:
Heartbreaker tonight against a competitive Parkland team. We had offensive opportunities that didn't go our way tonight and a few defensive moments where we watched in poor position and Parkland capitalized. I thought we fought hard together as a team so I cannot fault our effort. We need to do better offensively -taking advantage of scoring chances like corners. And defensively we need to organize earlier and defend as a unit. It stinks to lose but there is the silver lining of a loss that forces you to look at the game more critically for weaknesses and areas that need improvement before postseason. Shout outs to Quinn Carrol, Kendra Pitts and Lucy Smith for their standout play tonight. I love this team - its fun and they care about each other. I know they will be motivated by this loss to come together to correct what needs fixing and grow as a team.
