Comments:
West had a well-earned win against a disciplined, unyielding New Hope Solebury team. Fearing the weather would end the game early, we wanted to come out and gain a solid lead. Ellie Tweddale was pivotal in our first three goals in the first quarter. The fun came later in the game when as a team we worked together to get new players on the board - senior Mac West and junior Bree Rossi had their first varsity goals. And our starting goalie Kendra Pitts was able to play as a field player for the fourth quarter. New Hope thwarted our scoring efforts with very effective corner defense and two defensive saves. We have a quick turnaround with another game tomorrow night against Parkland.
