This was a hard fought defensive battle. Both teams had opportunities to score in regulation with CB South sophomore GK, Francine Richick, coming up big with several outstanding saves. Both teams played strong defense. CB South's Kasey Diesel and Ally Fitts did an excellent job of controlling the midfield and distributing the ball. CB South ended the game on their first corner just 2:10 into the OT when Erin Chioffe fed Lauren Dougherty who connected with a powerful shot into the corner of the cage.
