Our team is young and inexperienced but each game we are growing and getting better. Despite the score, I am proud of how the team fought today and worked as a unit. We played a ton of D which allowed our young team to practice individual and team defense. Our gk, Mac Bross is holding us together, not only with her phenomenal play, but also with her leadership and work ethic. As our team develops we will find more success transitioning from defense to offense.
East is a great team with a lot of skill. They work well as a team both defensively and offensively.

Riley Donnelly started off the scoring about five minutes into the game with a hard corner shot and an assist from Cailey Lever. Phia Mannino added another about ten minutes later, her third in three games, with a rebound off the goalie’s pads. Emma Donnelly scored off a feed from Phia Mannino and Cailey Lever added one of her own to finish the half with a 4-0 lead. East kept possession of the ball and controlled the first half with crisp passing. In the second half Cailey Lever took a feed from Mackenzie Boyle and shot it from the top for her second and Riley Donnelly finished East’s scoring one minute later. Caitlin Amsden had a great display of stickwork and maneuvered into the circle using a reverse sweep shot into the goal for the only Pennridge point of the game. Mackenzie Bross from Pennridge made some outstanding saves in the goal with 24 total saves. East started to gel more on the field and connect with passes all throughout the game. Next up is CB West Wednesday.
