Comments:
Its always a fun environment to play at CB East - their fans are spirited and enthusiastic and provide an extra energy to the contest. CB East executed a nice press and their goalie did a really nice job of making us earn our goals. I thought Aida Ierubino did an excellent job of varying her speed to get open and score. Eve Damsker was an offensive threat out of the backfield disrupting the press in place. Lucy Smith was a solid connection in the midfield; she was able to get the ball to the forwards from our backs and keep the ball in the attack after East's defense would come up with a stop. Lastly Quinn Carrol and Margot Trask were pivotal in stopping any attempt at an offensive run by East. Tonight's contest ends our first loop through the league. Our next game is a non-league game and will be against a very competitive and well coached Manheim Twp. team.
