The Bensalem Owls faced one of the toughest teams in the league today in Central Bucks South. The Owls were able to hold them at bay until the 2:08 remaining in the first quarter. CBS scored a second in the second quarter about eight minutes in to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. That score stayed until 7:54 left in the game when CBS scored their third and final goal.
Our offensive woes continue but defensively we're just about where we want to be. The defense of Abby Cheung, Lucciana Krecko, and Makayla Duncan and many of the midfielders held their own throughout the game, despite losing Veronica Lennon early in the game. Anjali Guda really stepped up in this game after the loss of one of our best players, Veronica Lennon.
Goalkeeper Hailey Fricke had another sensational game with 21 saves , facing 11 CBS corners

GREAT DEFENSE FROM BENSALEM TODAY AND THEIR GOALKEEPER. IT TOOK A LITTLE TO ADJUST TO THE FIELD WE WERE PLAYING ON AND THEN OUR GIRLS STARTED TO FIND EACH OTHER. SOME OF THE GOALS SCORED TODAY WERE ON CORNERS SO WE WERE EXCITED TO SEE THAT PRACTICE HAS PAID OFF. WE WILL CONTINUE TO WORK HARD AND GROW TOGETHER.
