It was a total team win today where everyone contributed and stepped up. We were determined to come out early and get on the board and we did just that. Junior mid, Gwen Judge got things started in the first quarter with a goal, assisted by Senior forward, Brooke Dougherty. Senior forward, Janice Coonahan soon followed with a goal in the second quarter, off a beautiful pass from Senior center mid, Maeve Link. Senior forward, Lana Brown then converted in the third quarter, unassisted. Link then converted on a stroke in the 4th quarter, to put the game away.

Our team worked hard to keep the ball down in Council Rock South's circle throughout a majority of the game. They utilized a lot of what we worked on in practice this week, and reviewed on film, and it was nice to see it work to their benefit.

Junior mid, Gwen Judge, had a great game and was all over the field, both offensively and defensively. Senior forward, Janice Coonahan, also helped create a lot of offensive opportunities by running the field and getting the ball in the circle. Sophomore mid, Devon Doyle, has also stepped up the past 2 games and is playing really well for us.

.Junior goalie, Keely Gallagher, and Senior goalie, Palmina D'Angelo, split the game to preserve the shut out.

The girls really came out with a lot of energy today and played hard the whole game. The heat was brutal, but they continued to push themselves to ensure we got a win. We really played as a team today and the results showed that!
