In the boys match Upper Moreland was looking to do some damage to the North Penn Knights division leading lead by two games over the Rams of Pennridge. In the first game it was a game of intense bowling with some really nice scores from both teams with the Bears winning the game by the slimness of margin one pin.( 1040)-(1039) As a bowling team would know there is no defense against the opponent and the bears really earned their victory. In losing the first game the Knights knew they had to continue to bowl well in which they did scoring over a 1000 in each game for a team total of 3067 and winning three out of four holding on to their standings lead by one game.
Two really nice nights for the Knights was again Tyler Sharpe with another big series ( 268-245-211 =724 series). Right behind Sharpe almost matching him was Steven Gerhart with (223-202-268=693 series).Jimmy Ullman also added a nice second game of (210).
Good scores were also had by the Bears high bowler Harry Betz 233-594 series,Mike Balot 201-202-586 series,Jarry Goldstein 237-584 series.
North Penn visits Pennridge in a utmost important division match on Monday at Earlbowl.
