PW earned tough road win in an exciting game. PW came out on fire hitting 4 threes in the first quarter (konowal-2, mesunas, Williams) to jump out to a 17-3 lead. PW then got into foul trouble and Chichester answered with a 14-0 second quarter to tie the game at 17 at halftime. PW continued to struggle early in the third quarter but Alynna Williams and Asia Baker carried the team to the win. Asia scored 14 of her team high 16 in the second half, Alynna scored 9 of her 14 points in the fourth quarter, as well as hitting Cara Sweeney for a layup in the final seconds to seal the win. After opening the season with 4 out of 5 on the road, PW is looking forward to 2 home games next week!
