Despite the final result, the Panthers took a huge step in the right direction tonight. We have continued to improve and get better each game. It wasn't the complete game that we were looking for, but we played extremely well and hung in tough for two and a half quarters. The Titans opened the game on a 7-0 run, but the Panthers responded and picked up their defensive intensity to close out the half on an 11-3 run and headed into halftime down 14-11. The momentum carried into the second half as both teams traded some early baskets. The Panthers found themselves trailing 18-15 with just under 3 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter, but unfortunately weren't able to get any closer. Late turnovers and the inability to get any quality shots proved to be their downfall. This was a great learning experience for our team, and will benefit us greatly later in the season.
