Thought it was a great tough battle against our rival Council Rock North. Derek Wright does a great job with those guys, and his kids always play hard and are tough to play against! We got out to a 17-point lead early and they came storming back to make it a one possession game in the second half. Thought Joey Madara really gave us a big lift on both ends of the court, especially in the third quarter where he scored 8 of his 10 points in addition to grabbing 8 rebounds. Point guard Ry Haglund had another great game for us, he controlled the game and dished out 8 assists while grabbing 4 rebounds. Thought the game went back and forth a little bit in the second half, every time North would get the lead down to a bucket or two, we made some big plays. I thought Brenden Ballmer, who led the way in scoring for us with 14 points, made some very big buckets to stop Norths Momentum. Ryan Delp who was fighting an illness gave us everything he had out on the court and although not as active as he usually is on the offensive end, really played well on the defensive end and gutted it out! It was a great team win for us!
