Junior Dan Jacobson throws a complete game one hit shutout against the Fords. Beside the two out 7th ground ball single by Burke, Dan only needed help on seven other balls put in play as he collected 14 strikeouts on the day. 5 of those were the first five hitters of the game. And the last one on four pitches immediately after the single to end the game. John lee, bryn d'andrea and Morey Hershgordon had big days offensively combining for four runs and five hits and five RBI Huckfeldt was two for two and Mitchell drove in a run. It was a great game to send our seniors out on.
After a tough 1-9 start The Cardinals turned things around on the second half of the season and went 6-3.
