The Hatboro-Horsham Hatters bounced back from a tough loss the previous day at CB East, to beat Souderton 8-4 at Clifford C. Hendrickson Memorial Field on a chilly Thursday afternoon.

Hatters senior centerfielder Alex Kleidon led the offense. Kleidon went 3-3 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI. Fellow senior, Justin Gregorio also had multiple hits, going 2-3 with an RBI. The Hatters scored in 4 of their 6 times at bat. The got on the board in the first inning when Kevin Barron, who reached on a walk, scored on a Joe Simmons double. In the second inning, Alec Blyler singled with one out and then he scored on Kleidon’s RBI double. The Hatters had big innings in the 4th and 5th innings, scoring 3 times in each inning.

Ryan Murphy earned the win on the mound for HH. The senior gave up 4 runs over 6 2/3 innings pitched on 10 hits.

The Hatters (8-4 Overall, 6-2 SOL Continental) will host Upper Moreland on Friday in a non-league match-up of the two neighboring schools.
