The Hatters won a SOL Continental battle against a strong Pennridge team , 3-1, on Thursday afternoon at Clifford C. Hendrickson Memorial Field.

Senior Ryan Murphy was outstanding on the mound for the Hatters. He threw a complete game, the second in two days for the Hatters following Colin Kennedy’s CG yesterday. Murphy struck out 5 while walking none and allowing only 4 hits. Pennridge senior, and Monmouth commit, Joe Molettiere struck out 8 in the complete game effort.

Alec Blyler was 2-2 for the Hatters. Kevin Barron and Chris Crookham were tremendous defensively for the Hatters.

The box score doesn’t do justice for the quality of a game that this was.

The Hatters (6-3 Overall, 4-1 SOL Continental) will travel to CB East on Monday.
