The Hatters (8-9 Overall, 5-7 SOL Continental) fell 7-1 to North Penn (8-4 SOL Continental) on Tuesday afternoon. The Knights scored 6 runs in the first two innings and cruised to the victory behind Bryce Mengel's complete game effort. Mengel struck out 6 and allowed just 3 hits and a walk.

After the first two batters were retired in the first inning, Eddie Posavec walked and Chris Kersey was hit by a pitch. Jared Melone's double scored them both to give the Knights a 2-0 lead. In the second, the Knights scored 4 runs on the strength of a couple walks, 2 bunt singles, an error and a Brady West double.
