The Hatboro-Horsham Hatters fell 8-0 to Council Rock North on Tuesday in the “Winter Classic”.
The snow didn’t faze CR North starting pitcher Brandon Mcllwain, who got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He didn't allow a hit in 3 2/3 innings while striking out 5 and walking 2.
Tyler Callendar, the Delaware bound catcher, led the CR North offense going 3-4 with 3 RBI.
Kevin Barron was charged with the loss for the Hatters. e Hatters got two strong scoreless relief innings from senior Bryan Johnson.
The Hatters are back in action on Friday, with their home opener against Bensalem.
