Outlook: “Graduating four 4-year varsity players leaves a large void in the infield, and on the offensive side of the line-up, since all four players were .300+ hitters in their senior seasons, but a number of players are quickly stepping up to fill those holes. The outfield is loaded with veteran experience, which will be one of the keys to good defense, and Garrison is poised to make a statement on the mound for her final season.
“Right now, the biggest opponent is the weather; it's been difficult to get onto the field to get game-simulated reps but the players are focused and doing the best they can with the practice opportunities they have. We are just looking forward to getting started and finding a game-day rhythm.”
