Key returning players:
Mani Sajid Sr: All-league first team 1100+ career points, Towson U commit. 6'4" wing/PG
Michael Pereira: All-league 2nd team, 3-year varsity player, captain, 2-year starter 6'11" 275 lb C U Penn commit.
Jack Hayes: 3-year varsity, 2-year starter, captain, multiple D3 offers, highly experienced and talented PG. A key motor for us.
Micah Thompson: 3-year varsity player, 2-year starter. Multiple D2/D3 interest. 6'7" power forward A key piece of our starting 5 bringing, skill, toughness, and high IQ.
Buddy Denard: 2nd year, top 6 guy; PG, solid defender and score/pass combination.
Terron Davis: 3-year varsity player, can start or be key 6th man role; brings high energy, 6'0 guard with speed and quickness. Serious on-ball defensive energy and offensive finishing ability.
Eric Conicello: 2-year varsity player. Quick, athletic guard who is a combination of downhill 6'0" Sr Guard, finishing capability with 3-point range.
Zhaiden Gray: Another 2-year varsity scoring guard who brings defensive intensity and the
6'0" Sr SG ability to score in multiple ways.
Luca Taormina: Combo junior wing/forward with multiple offensive weapons and good size, 6'5" Jr Fwd/Wing acting as a key big man for us who can stretch the floor.
Outlook: “We return 11 players from last season's 6A District 1 runner-up team. We play a highly challenging non-league schedule that includes Springside Chestnut Hill, Roman Catholic, Archbishop Wood, West Catholic, Coatesville, and Engineering and Science, along with a tournament in San Diego, California.
“Certainly, we have high hopes but are going to have to figure out how to play with a chip on our shoulder every night with the overriding goal in mind of playing well into March.”
