Last year’s record: 15-11 overall, 7-3, 3rd place SOL Patriot 14th seed in District 1
Notable losses: Maggie Burns ( Muhlenberg) and Ava Jordan (Case Western Reserve) Both are playing basketball.
Key returners: Sammi Haws (Jr/G), Joey Hohman (Jr/G), Alyssa Thomas (So/G), Emily Panaro (Sr/C)
Others to watch: Keira Socha (So/G), Milan Reeves (Jr/G), Shea Quenzer (Jr/G), Bella Stewart (So/ C)
Strengths/Question Marks: Strong guard play will guide us. Rebounding will determine our fate.
Outlook: “Last year enabled a number of freshmen and sophomores to gain experience and play significant roles. After a slow start, by the final game of the season, there was a chance to win a league championship. We are pleased to welcome back Joley Hohman after she recovered from an injury in the summer of 2024. This group will have to prove it can play with a consistent edge while simultaneously maintaining an appropriate level of emotional intelligence. Seven of the first nine games are on the road. By Christmas, we will know if we were naughty or nice from April to November.”
