Strengths/Question Marks: Strengths are that we have lots of girls competing for time which helps to raise everyone’s level of play. Question this season will be who or how many players will step up to fill Kylie’s shoes and score goals.
Outlook: “The goal is always work for a league title. Our schedule is tough, so every point is going to be important this year. We have a lot of girls that are going to get opportunities to show what they can do. This group is very different from last year’s group, and they have been working hard in the offseason to prepare and are eager to get started and show what they can do. The goal is to always to start by working for a league title. Every game you have to go in wanting to win. We have some special players throughout the team, but Ava Hood has stepped up to be the voice and set the tone for the team. Bri Garyah, who is coming into her senior year, really didn’t get to play much of her junior year because of an injury. She’s and extremely smart and skilled player with an incredible understanding of the game. She really has the ability to bring out the best in her teammates.”
