Strengths/Question Marks:  “We are young and inexperienced but extremely coachable.  The girls want to learn, and it shows each time they take the field.  They are getting better each week.  They show up – they practice hard and they are committed to improving.  At the same time, they are extremely resilient and understand that when games don’t go their way to keep competing hard and remain positive.”

Outlook: “As a first-year coach, the focus this season has been on laying the foundation for the future of the program. Building a team culture, establishing expectations, and helping players grow in their understanding of the game have all been key priorities. While the team continues to develop on the field, the effort and commitment the players bring each day have been encouraging signs for what lies ahead.
The program has also benefited from strong leadership from its captains, Reese Merrill and Emily Hines, who have helped set the tone for hard work, positivity, and accountability. Their support has been instrumental in keeping the team connected and motivated as the program continues to grow.”
