CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL PREVIEW

Last year’s record:13-5

Key returners:  Senior Sarah Poli (OH), Senior Erin Cleary (S), Senior Brianna Bannach (DS), Junior Megan Manderson (OPP) and Senior Megan Dunn (MB)

Players to watch:  Sophomore Sara Eckelmeyer (OH/MB), Senior Larysa Wozniak (DS), Junior Morgan McCrory (DS)

Outlook:  “After losing only two varsity starters last season, CB South looks to be a contender for a conference title this season. CB South finished last season 13-5 and lost a heartbreaker to Garnet Valley in the second round of district playoffs. The girls can’t wait to get the season started!
“We are all really excited to get started, but we have some tough games on our schedule this season. We just need to make sure to take our season one day at a time and really make sure we properly prepare for every opponent.
“If we work hard and take our season one day at a time, there is no reason that CB South shouldn’t be in contention for a conference or district title. We have a great group of talent returning to play this season. Look for CB South to be in the mix at the end of the season. They should be a very exciting team to watch.”
