Tough game today at Bensalem. Really impressed by their style of play and the work that Bob and his staff have done with the group, their ability to play out of the back is very impressive and we struggled in the first half to deal with how they played.
We weren't at our best in the first half and we spent half time trying to refocus on the things we wanted to better, we did a much better job in the second half playing in their end and getting more players forward, our pressure paid off when Taylor Brennan was fouled in the box, she scored the resulting PK midway thru the 2nd half. With less than 10 mins left some nice build up resulted in a cross that Taylor was able to get on the end of and fire into the corner.
Danielle Eden continues to stand out in the goal for us, her consistency and the confidence she gives the defenders is a great asset. Today we were impressed by the performances of Delaney McCaffery & Kate Thomson who worked hard and provided calm decision making when it mattered. As we head into the final week we continue to take one game at a time but we realize that playoff seedings are on the line.
