We beat Pennsbury 3-0. We started out fast. We wanted to jump on them early and put pressure on their back line.

Taylor got our first goal 3 minutes in on a great 40 yard individual run on her own beating a couple defenders and sliding the ball into the net to give us a 1-0 lead. A couple minutes later Mariella Neri played a ball to Shea Lubin and Shea beat the goalie to give us a 2-0 lead.

Twenty minutes into the half Taylor hit a corner that AC headed and then Mariella headed to Kate Weyer and Kate full volley it into the net to give us a 3-0 lead.

I felt we kind of took the petal off the gas a little bit and just kind of finished out the half.

The second half we could not get anything going. I felt Pennsbury did a good job keeping the ball in front of them. Maeve Shiffler was outstanding in the second half.

My keeper Jules Broskey was lights out today. She is playing so well and it was nice to get another clean sheet.

It was nice to go 5-1 against that conference. I know we wish we could have that CRN game back because we played really well but we just couldn’t finish.

Now it’s time to strap up and get ready for in conference play next week. We have three incredibly tough games next week so we will continue to try and get better each game.
