The Quakertown Community High School Panthers Cross Country teams competed against Upper Dublin HS yesterday at Memorial Park in Quakertown. The meet, originally scheduled at Upper Dublin needed to be switched due to storm damage at their high school.
In the BOYS race, the Panthers lost by a score of 18-41, led by senior JOHN JUSZYNSKI, placing 3rd overall in a time of 17:33. The Panthers did have three runners in the top 10, with Freshman Dominic Pesce, 7th in 21:21 & Junior Will Dickson, 8th in 21:23......however, they couldn't close the deal when their 4th & 5th men placed 19th & 20th, respectively.
In the GIRLS race, the Lady Panthers were led by Junior Rebekah Hickey, winning in a time of 21:33, followed closely by teammate and fellow Junior Katie Catalano, 5th in 23:12, narrowly losing by a score of 22-39.
