Souderton started a little flat and went down 1-0 early in the match. We were able to respond well and get up 2-1 about 10 minutes later. After that, the game fell a bit off the tracks and slipped away from us, as we had a rusty start with our first game of the season. A few defensive errors left the Lansdale Catholic attacking players some space to create and fire home a few shots relatively uncontested.

The team had a few moments of brightness, with captains Maggie Fisher (junior) and Avery Nogami (senior) working to shore up the middle of the field late in the second half. Nogamie could have had a hat trick or more of converted set pieces and crosses, but a number of her efforts sailed just wide or over the bar. After falling to the three-goal deficit with ten minutes to play, we couldn't mount a response to get the game back.

We play CB South at home Thursday night.
