Abington defeated Bensalem 2-1 in a real barnburner tonight at Bensalem. Bensalem jumped out to an early lead on the Ghosts but Abington answered on a beautiful strike by Sheila Longo. The play was set up by a Emily Ryan's pass which found Longo in stride. The half ended 1-1. the second half was relatively even with both sides pressuring to get the go ahead tally. Molly Wyman finally won a ball at midfield which squirted diagonally to Longo who made no mistake. The Ghosts hung on for the remaining 47 seconds to even their record at 4-4.
