A true even match and back and forth game - I’m so happy that my girls were able to gain control of the game in the second half and come out on top.
During the first half, Pennridge was able to gain control of the draw and maintain pressure on us.
In the second half, we were able to gain control of the draw. We played a relaxed, spread out attack to maintain possession and give our cutters more room to work. This strategy worked and allowed more teamwork and cohesive play.
Our defense was able to maintain and defend our 8 for most plays that Pennridge ran on us.
