Despite the score, I felt this was a much more competitive game than the last time we played (8-2 loss). I am extremely proud of the way we are adjusting to our opponents and improving with every game. Our league is brutal and we have a battle every game. I think the amazing competition makes all of the teams in our league better. For our part, I thought Maddy Cooper (Ursinus commit) had the best game of her career. She did a great job of collecting the ball and distributing it to our forwards. In addition, Anna Shirley, Anna Gillard, Maddie Pearce and Sophia Wasyliw did an excellent job of slowing down Souderton's potent offense. Freshman Bella Schute did a nice job on the forward line and showed a great deal of hustle.
