UD found themselves down 7-5 in the 7th inning. Ally McDaid started a 1-out rally with a single down the right field line followed by Taylor Avery with another single. Ellie Kelcy then hit an RBI double to score McDaid. Bela Soriano followed with a bunt single to load the bases. Gretchen Wolpert delivered what was the game winner with a 2-run double to score Avery and Kelcy and Lauren Carboni tacked on another run with a sacrifice fly to left field to score Soriano. Chloe Foster came in for a 1-2-3 inning to close out the 7th.

UD is now 5-1 overall, 1-1 in SOL play. Weather permitting, we will host Abington again tomorrow.
