March 28 UM vs. Pottsgrove
UM started off with the lead and while it always seemed to come back to a tie or close game we were able to hold a lead for most of the game. At halftime the score was UM 12 Pottsgrove 8. Starting the second half we were able to extend that lead farther. At one point the score was 18 to 11, and Pottsgrove battled back to have the game be within 2 goals which is where the game ended at 19 to 17. The difference for us today was being able to win a lot of the draws which was our struggle in the previous game. Pottsgrove never let down during the game and really battled the whole game. Cassidy Hirsch had a great game with 7 goals, 1 assist, and 7 draw controls. Emma Meakim also had a great game with 6 assists and 3 goals. Megan O’Donnell contributed at both the defense end and offensive end and finished the game with 4 goals, 3 assists, and 1 draw control. Moira Olexa contributed 1 goal, 2 assists, and 6 draw controls. Bryanna Gordon had 3 goals and 1 assist, and Madison Trzaska had 1 goal. Sarah Pickard in goal had 4 saves and Emma hurley contributed 7 saves.
