In a very well-played game, Great Valley struck first on a beautifully executed corner shot by Aiden Drabick, that was tipped in by Gillian Icabucci with 6:49 remaining in the first half.
CB South answered back on a near perfect corner shot by Annie Brady that was tipped in by Anna Gillard at the 22:01 mark of the second half. CB South scored the game-winner when Mel Dunton fed Casey Reilly with 13:15 left in the game. Both goalkeepers held off some excellent shots and with 20 seconds left in the game Great Valley was awarded a corner. In an effort to tie the game, the entire team was brought up and the clock was allowed to run out. Great Valley lifted a dangerous shot on a corner hit and the game ended with CB South securing the exciting win. Great job by both teams!
