Pennsbury High School Boys Lacrosse

While Pennsbury and Archbishop Wood high schools are only about twelve miles from each other, they had not met in a regular season boys lacrosse game until today. On a beautiful summer-like day, the Pennsbury Falcons got the first win in the first meeting with the AB Wood Vikings, by a 16-2 final score. Pennsbury dominated play against the young Viking team, leading by 9-1 at the half and 15-1 at the end of the third period, with the entire Falcon roster seeing significant playing time.

The Falcons got goals from 8 different players and 13 of the 17 goals were assisted. Pennsbury was led by Kenneth Warren (4g), Josh Caven (4g), Calvin Hopkins (2g, 2a), Shawn Caven (1g, 2a), Ricky Jutkiewicz (2g, 1a), ,and Ryan McDonald (2a). Archbishop Wood was led by Andrew McIntyre (1g), Chris Rahill (1g), Steve Jackson (1a) and Kevin McNicholas (1a).

The win puts PHS at 6 - 0 for the year and 1-0 in the Suburban One National conference, while the Archbishop Wood Vikings are 0-3 on the year and 0-1 in the Catholic League North..
