It was an incredibly played game by both sides. The loss to CB East at home marks the first loss on our home turf since October 9th, 2014 at the hands of Hatboro Horsham. East started the game strong and really dominated through the first half. The West defense was tough led by Casey Reichwein, Kaci Murray, Liv Fitzgerald and Chloe Miller. One of their 8 corners they earned led to the lone goal of the game that half. It was a perfectly executed drive out to the top with a perfect shot off the stick of R Donnelly. The second half was more even with West having quite a few opportunities to score. Their best chance came with about 8 minutes remaining as a pass from Caitlin Mulligan to Julia Bunch to Anya DeAngelis got behind the goalie before being stopped by the East defense.

Peyton Fischer had a fantastic game keeping the score what it was. She had several one v one stops that kept East from getting any momentum. When they had chances to score she kept them from getting any easy shots. Casey Reichwein was credited with 5 defensive saves (that's not a typo) during the game. During the last few minutes she had three of them! These were sure goals that she was able to get, some out of the air some off the ground.

West played well and fought hard for the entire game. The team never stopped pushing and stayed composed the whole time. The team will be back in action Friday vs Pennridge.
