Tonight the CB South boys volleyball team hosted CB East and lost in 4 sets in a close match (17-25, 25-19, 23-25 & 22-25). After losing game 1 we came back to take the second game. Game 3 went back and forth with cb east coming out on top. Late in game 4 with the lead and working to push the match to the 5th set our two senior captains collided forcing them both out of the match to be evaluated for several plays. Our bench players subbed in and played well before our starters returned however we lost momentum and the match. Team leaders included setter Mark Macios ( 2 kills, 8 blocks, 19 assists and 5 digs ) Middle Justin Koren ( 6 aces, 11 kills, 3 blocks and 10 digs ) opposite Jack Hertkorn 2 kills and 5 blocks and sophomore Jon Zonshein came in late and had 2 aces and an assist.
