The Panthers played a great first half defensively. "It was probably the best team defense we have played all season. Everyone was in the right spots to help and we were able to force them into tough contested shots." As a result it was all tied at 8 at the half. The second half started with 2 turnovers on the first two offensive possessions and gave up a few easy layups to trail by 6 early in the third quarter. We were never able to get into any rhythm offensively the remainder of the quarter and found themselves down by 9 points heading into the 4th quarter. A 9-0 Panther run with 3 minutes remaining brought the Panthers to within 5, but they were never able to close the gap. Emma Stanfield lead the Panthers with 10 points. Kelly Scipione had 6, and Kyla Gibson added 5.
