Wissahickon got off to a quick start scoring goals in the 5th and 10th minute. Both goals were scored by Jacob Cohen one off a corner (5th) and he finished a cross (10th). Chase Rider cut the score in half when he finished a Jack McCourt pass in the 20th minute. Four minutes later McCourt scored when Dan Grindrod slipped a great ball through the defense. 2-2 half.
Both side played a scoreless half until McCourt slipped a pass though the "D" to Vince Hosephros. Hosephros was tripped up in the box and Neshaminy earned a PK. Dan Grindrod buried the PK with 10 seconds to play. It was nice to dig out of a 2-0 hole and get a win. There was a strong wind that made it difficult to play, so it was not the most artistic game but we'll take the win against a good team.
