East came out strong and was able to take a 2-0 lead early with goals from Cailey Lever and Abbey Butler, but North Penn answered with a quick goal from Brianna O’Donnell. The game was a tough fought, fast paced offensive game. Cailey Lever finished with a hattrick and Butler with 2, while Mikayla Barrow from North Penn was able to put two on the board for North Penn.
I was very proud of our team to keep the pressure on for the full 60 minutes against one of the tough competitors in our league. We need to continue with this intensity to accomplish our goals.
